Sometimes it seems like everyone is in a band. At least for those of us in bands it does. You see tons of guys lugging their amps and axes around town, playing to the same dedicated folks that see every other band. But to get some name recognition and to really get your band out there takes something more than the dedication to Rock you have already so bravely shown. It takes self promotion.

One of the best ways to self promote is to make t-shirts. Wholesale blank clothing is cheaper than you think and with the right design and a cool logo your t-shirt could become a means of promotion, as well as a way to make some much needed scratch.

How does having a t-shirt promote your band? It is so simple! Your band name printed boldly on blank clothes could find it’s self traveling all over the place. A person could theoretically be wearing your band’s t-shirt in another country some day and peak some intrepid fan’s interest.

A fan of your’s might just walk that well designed promotional t-shirt right into the record label that is desperately looking for you, even if they don’t know it. Basically your t-shirt could create instant name recognition and some real buzz. Can your career in rock afford not to have t-shirts?
